The "Motor Touring" Room — Backroads and Overlooks is a bright and airy room with a queen bed on the front corner of the main floor just off the parlor. It opens onto a covered porch on the south side of the Inn. The room is decorated with old photos, license plates, maps, and postcards, inspired by the scenic highways that wind through western North Carolina and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Private bath with old-fashioned clawfoot tub with shower. Hair dryer and herbal soap, shampoo, and bubble bath. Central air conditioning, with independent controls. Plantation shutters. Comfy robes, a CD player, and a copy of “Day Hikes of the Smokies” to enjoy while you are staying with us.
$115 - $133 double occupancy
Long Stay Discount: 20% discount for all nights after the first three.
Long holidays weekends require a three night minimum stay; weekends between May 1 and November 1 require a two night minimum stay. Shorter stays may become available, however, so please don't hesitate to call when you have a spur-of-the-moment urge to escape to the mountains. Also, the minimum stay requirement is removed two days before the calendar date.
